Season 5 Reloaded has arrived and to celebrate players are getting an opportunity to unlock the Spear. But you may be wondering how do you get the Spear FAST in MW3 and Warzone?

With this new update players can grind away the new content and receive some great rewards for their efforts including this new throwable Spartan weapon.

That’s right, players can throw this long and deadly object as well as utilise its extended range up close in melee fights. If you do manage to hit an enemy with the Spear, while throwing it, they’ll get pinned to the wall.

So here’s how you can unlock it fast in MW3 and Warzone.

How Do You Get The Spear In MW3 And Warzone?

The Spear isn’t difficult to get, but it will take some time to unlock.

You’ll need to complete the newly unlocked Battle Pass sector in the Season 5 Battle Pass – which is sector 23. It contains four new challenges for you to complete with four new rewards (plus one final reward for completing the sector).

The challenges are as follows:

• Get 10 Operator or Special Zombie Melee Kills (Win It All Large Decal)
• Get 3 Operator or Special Zombie Kills with Throwing Knives (Coined Champion Emblem)
• Get 3 Operator Melee Backstab Kills or Special Zombie Kills (1 Hour Double XP Token)
• Get 3 Operator or Special Zombie Kills with the Butt of a Gun (Overtime Weapon Sticker)
• Spear (Earn All Sector Rewards)

How To Get The Spear FAST In MW3 And Warzone

The easiest thing to do is to load into a game of Zombies to get these all done as it largely focuses on Melee kills and Zombies hardly put up much of a fight.

If you’re playing in Multiplayer, you’ll need to jump into Small Map Moshpit as this is the best and easiest place to get melee kills. Maps like Das Haus are great for this as there are so many corners with doors that filter traffic.

I would focus on Gun Butt kills as this is one of the most difficult challenges and will help you make progress to some of the other challenges.

Place yourself around corners and major traffic areas so you can catch enemies out and hit them with your Gun Butt (this takes two hit to get a kill). You should quickly complete the ‘Get 3 Operator or Special Zombie Kills with the Butt of a Gun’.

If you can catch them with their back turned, you’ll also easily complete the ‘Get 3 Operator Melee Backstab Kills or Special Zombie Kills’ in one go.

Next, attempt to get 10 melee kills – follow a similar procedure, although you can generally get away with being more aggressive if you switch to a lethal melee weapon such as a knife (which is a one hit kill).

If you equip your throwing knives to your class, you can also complete the final challenge if you get caught out by anyone from a distance.
