New Weapons In Black Ops 7 Season 2 Reloaded

There are two new weapons expected to arrive in Black Ops 7’s mid-season 2 update, these are the Voyak KT-3 and Swordfish A1.

Voyak KT-3

The Voyak KT-3 is a new weapon in the franchise and an interesting one at that.

It’s a full-auto assault rifle, with high damage, slower fire rate, excellent handling and moderate to high recoil.

It’s described as being a combination of the AK-27 and Peackeeper MK1.

This weapon has 42 levels to rank up and once prestiged, you will unlock the MFS Anti-Dispersion Module.

You can obtain this from an upcoming event.

Swordfish A1

The Swordfish A1 is a spiritual successor to the original Swordfish featured in Black Ops 4.

It’s a 4-round burst marksman rifle, with a fast cyclic fire rate and minimal recoil, but slower mobility and handling.

Supposedly, it beats the M8A1 for overall damage but has longer delays between bursts and slower mobility.

This weapon has 39 levels to rank up and once prestiged, you will unlock the MFS Penta Burst Mod, which can only be assumed to be a 5-round burst mod.

You can obtain this from an upcoming event.

New Maps In Black Ops 7 Season 2 Reloaded

A number of new maps will be dropping into Season 2 Reloaded including:

  • Torque (New – 6v6)
  • Cliff Town (Remaster – 6v6)
  • Grind (Returning – 6v6)
  • Firing Range (Returning – 6v6)
  • Mission: Peak (New – 20v20)

Torque

Torque recalls the Battle of Los Angeles from Black Ops 2. Visually, it looks a lot like the mulltiplayer map Detour from the same game as well as some parts that remind us of the map Aftermath.

It presents more close quarter engagements compact gunfights with interesting wall traversal opportunities.

Cliff Town

Yemen was a map you either loved or hated and we’re about to find out which crowd you were part of. It’s being remastered as a cliffside Avalon town, while keeping the familiarity of it intact.

It’s certainly one of the most dynamic maps in Call of Duty history, with all weapons having their chance to shine.

Grind

Grind returns from Black Ops 6, which originally featured in Black Ops 2. The map will remain relatively untouched, but with the new wall jumping mechanic, it’s going to play completely different.

Firing Range

Firing Range has featured in almost every Black Ops game to date, which isn’t an accident, as it’s a fan favourite. While it may not feature as many wall jumping opportunities, you can always expect fast and frantic action.

Mission Peak

Mission Peak is a new Skirmish map, which on the surface looks very similar to the base map, but features waterlogged areas. These areas offer aquatic opportunities to mix up the combat.

New Modes In Black Ops 7 Season 2 Reloaded

Infected returns alongside ‘Gauntlet‘, which is meant to the equivalent of Black Ops 6’s ‘Pentathlon’ mode.

Warzone

Black Ops Royale

Black Ops Royale is not a remake, but pays homage to the concepts that Blackout originally brought to the table.

  • No Loadouts, only loot.
  • Rarity based weapon system
  • Perks will be lootable
  • Carry upto 5 perks
  • Updated skybox and lowered water levels in Avalon

More details to follow.

Black Ops 7 Zombies

We’re expecting the next map ‘Paradox Junction’ in the Zombies storyline, the details of which have yet to be revealed.

Based on the recent trailer, we get a look at the Warden’s frustration with the crew’s progress. He also is extracting life from Ava Jansen, who is Grey’s daughter – she was pulled into the Dark Aether in MWIII.

Paradox Junction is an Alpha-Omega remake, which was a remake of Nuketown Zombies.

All we know is the following from the latest Call of Duty blog:

“After freeing Caltheris from her bonds at the culmination of Astra Malorum’s Main Quest, the crew was pulled down into the sands of Mars, and are now stranded out of time, watched over by the malevolent Warden. What foul entities, otherworldly weaponry, and other surprises await? Expect a deeper dive into Paradox Junction in the Season 02 Reloaded Blog closer to the launch of the next chapter in the story.”

What Else Will There Be?

New challenges, new featured playlists, new events and new bundles will become available with the new update. A lot of this has yet to be detailed.
