If you’re looking for the SG-12 BO7 meta build, loadout and class, we’ve got you covered. With Season 2 of Black Ops 7 underway, the SG-12 has been released as part of the Escalation Directive event and is one of the best weapons in the game and at the top of the BO7 meta.

While it can take a bit of work to unlock, it has made a big impression early on. With new playlists being added weekly, you can use it to jump into any mode or situation and dominate.

So here’s our advice for using the SG-12.

The Best SG-12 BO7 Build

Here are the best attachments to run on your SG-12 in Black Ops 7’s multiplayer:

5 Attachments

  • 20″ Hawker Reach Barrel (Barrel)
  • HKO Suppressor (Muzzle)
  • Beadline Tactical Pad (Stock)
  • 2mw Adaptive Tactical Laser (Laser)
  • 12 Gauge Dragon’s Breath (Fire Mods)

8 Attachments

  • 20″ Hawker Reach Barrel (Barrel)
  • HKO Suppressor (Muzzle)
  • Redwell Dash Handstop (Underbarrel)
  • Bowen Bighorn Drum (Magazine)
  • Dropzone Grip (Rear Grip)
  • Beadline Tactical Pad (Stock)
  • 2mw Adaptive Tactical Laser (Laser)
  • 12 Gauge Dragon’s Breath (Fire Mods)

Whatever you run, Tactical Stance, the 20″ Hawker Reach Barrel and the 12 Gauge Dragon’s Breath attachments are a must; this is what gives it the ridiculous range you need.

You can opt to use the 2mw Adaptive Tactical Laser (regular tactical stance attachment), which has a more controlled rate of fire or, if you Prestige your weapon, the MFS Pulse Fire Taclight. The MFS Pulse Fire Taclight seems to reduce the Damage Range slightly and with the Binary Trigger (the gun fires both when pulling and then releasing the trigger) it tends to be a bit overkill and causes you to spam shots you don’t normally need to.

If you’re focusing more on just getting kills in one on one engagements, go with the MFS Pulse Fire Taclight. But if you’re looking to go on a streak or get multi-kills, use the 2mw Adaptive Tactical Laser.

I would only say you need 8 attachments if you really need to make the most of your weapon, particularly on bigger maps, or if you’re trying to get as many kills as you can.

The Best SG-12 BO7 Loadout And Class

With the best SG-12 BO7 Meta Build, you’ll need to consider what the rest of your class looks like.

Wildcard

I would run Perk Greed more often than not, or alternatively, the Specialist Wildcard to give as many perks as possible. Otherwise, I would run Tac Expert/Danger Close for objective modes and Overkill if I’m on a bigger map and need more range.

Secondary

  • GDS Havoc
    • MFS Airstrike Mag (Magazine)
    • Actuator Grip (Rear Grip)

Melee

  • Knife

Field Upgrade

Active Camo is a great all around choice and Scrambler is also a good option too.

You could also try the Tactical Insertion so you can respawn in the action zones quicker.

Tactical

Stim Shots are great with a shotgun so you can quickly recover and get back into the fight. Smoke Grenades are also really useful if you’ve got little cover to manoeuvre through.

Lethal

If find the Impact Grenade very good with Shotguns for a more immediate switch and kill, you can also use the Combat Axe if you’re more accurate. Any other lethal will also work fine for objective modes.

Perks

  • Lightweight (Perk 1)
  • Close Shave (Perk 2)
  • Dexterity (Perk 3)
  • Enforcer (Specialist)
  • Tac Sprinter/Tech Mask/Flak Jacket/Ghost (Perk Greed)

Your base perks will give you controlled mobility and movement speed.

Your Perk Greed choice is interchangable to fit the needs of your situation.
