If you’re looking for the Hawker HX BO7 meta build, loadout and class, we’ve got you covered. With Season 2 of Black Ops 7 underway, the Hawker HX is the top choice for snipers, but has recently suffered a big nerf and has made it more difficult to use – meaning it’s no longer as influential in the BO7 meta.
The latest playlists update gives ample opportunities to make the most of snipers.
So here’s our advice for using the Hawker HX.
The Best Hawker HX BO7 Meta Build
Here are the best attachments to run on your Hawker HX in Black Ops 7’s multiplayer:
5 Attachments
- MFS 25″ Votive Barrel (Barrel)
- Auroral Light Grip (Rear Grip)
- Hawker Steadfast Stock (Stock)
- 2mw Adaptive Tactical Laser (Laser)
- Light Bolt (Fire Mods)
8 Attachments
- SWF Tishina-11 (Muzzle)
- MFS 25″ Votive Barrel (Barrel)
- Knitline Focus (Underbarrel)
- Amrita Fast Mag (Magazine)
- Auroral Light Grip (Rear Grip)
- Hawker Steadfast Stock (Stock)
- 2mw Adaptive Tactical Laser (Laser)
- Light Bolt (Fire Mods)
With the recent pop shot nerfs, you’ll now need to run the 2mw Adaptive Tactical Laser in order for this weapon to revert back to the pre-patch version. You’ll want to put on as many attachments as you can that decrease the ADS time.
I would only say you need 8 attachments to get the absolute most out of this weapon. I am not a fan of the scope on the Hawker HX, so I tend to switch between the Iron Sight, Redwell 30-S 2X and the Kepler Ultra 4x. You can opt for a bigger magazine size, but at the expense of your ADS speed.
Flinch Resistance is very helpful on a sniper, but if you need a bit more ADS walking speed, try swapping the Knitline Focus Grip for the Hawker Mobile Grip or the Hawker Steadfast Stock for the Requiem-ZW Stock.
The Best Hawker HX BO7 Loadout And Class
With the best Hawker HX BO7 Meta Build, you’ll need to consider what the rest of your class looks like.

Wildcard
I tend to run the Gunfighter wildcard to maximise my sniper’s lethality, but you could opt to run Perk Greed if you are happy with 5 attachments.
Secondary
- CODA 9
- Hawker Ported Comp (Muzzle)
- 6.3″ Greaves Halberd Barrel (Barrel)
- Hellgate Stick Mag (Magazine)
- Akimbo Coda 9 (Stock)
- Convergence Box Laser (Laser)
Melee
- Knife
Field Upgrade
Active Camo is a great all around choice and Scrambler is also a good option too.
You could also try the Tactical Insertion so you can respawn in the action zones quicker.
Fear Trap is great to watch your back with, while Squad Link will give you more map coverage and some passive score.
Tactical
Stim Shots are great with an aggresive sniper so you can quickly recover and get back into the fight. Smoke Grenades are also really useful if you’ve got little cover to manoeuvre through.
Lethal
The Combat Axe is a staple with a sniper, but if you want something more forgiving, the Impact Grenade does a similar job. Otherwise, C4 is a great aggressive lethal to use. If you’re playing more passively, use the Point Turret.
Perks
- Lightweight (Perk 1)
- Close Shave (Perk 2)
- Dexterity (Perk 3)
- Enforcer (Specialist)
Sniping effectively is all about your movement and these perks will allow you to move swiftly.
If you’re playing more passive, I recommend the following:
- Ghost (Perk 1)
- Vigilance (Perk 2)
- Tracker(Perk 3)
- Recon (Specialist)
