As we enter the beta phase of this year’s new Call of Duty, it’s a great time to experiment with settings. So we’ve detailed the best graphics and interface settings for Black Ops 6
Last year’s title has very very similar setting options, meaning you should be able to get right into the groove.
Here are our recommended Controller Settings for the best aim and experience in Black Ops 6.
Best Controller Settings For Black Ops 6
Here are our recommended settings, if anything isn’t mentioned, leave it on the default setting.
Custom HUD
There are a number of new HUD options in Black Ops 6, which you should try out and experiment with to find the one that suits you and puts the information you want, where you want it.
It’s the first time we’ve been able to customise it (to an extent) and get the information that’s most important to us.
If you find yourself looking at the mini-map a lot, try using Dot Hunter or Focused as the mini-map is much closer to the center of the screen where the enemy is. This will stop you from dying much less.

Field Of View
The FOV in Call of Duty is defaulted to 90, it’s a comfortable middle-ground; especially for veteran players.
If you’re finding it hard to focus on your targets, lowering the FOV will help you visually for a few reasons.
Your targets will appear bigger as they’ll be much closer to you. The game also feels like it plays a lot slower making it easier to hit targets. It’s certainly easier for long ranged fights.
But you do this at the risk of missing opponents much easier that are just out of vision.
If you find it too slow, or you feel you’re missing a lot of the map and enemies are easily walking past you, try bumping the FOV up to give you more intel. It’s great for close-range fights and utilising the full Omnimovement.
In my experience, 120 FOV is the best option.
