The Black Ops 6 beta is entering its SECOND WEEK and an update has been pushed. So we’re detailing the Black Ops 6 Beta Patch Notes Today and Playlist updates.
Even in early access, the Call of Duty beta is getting regular updates to keep the game fresh and in the best state it can be.
This new weekend will see a level cap change, new weapons, scorestreaks and some gun changes.There are several strong weapons that may receive adjustments in the coming days.
Here’s what’s new in the beta today.
Black Ops 6 Beta Patch Notes (8th September – Week 2)

A downloadable update has begun rolling out to all players in preparation for
Black Ops 6 Beta Patch Notes Today (4th September)
Treyarch have managed to fix the cross-game XP reward issue that has been present for the past couple of days.
- Treyarch has identified and fixed the issue impacting the deployment of BO6 Beta x MW3 S5 Player XP and Battle Pass XP grants. Starting at 11:30 am/PT, we will retroactively reward players who were missed on Day 1/Day 2 and all players during our grant pause on subsequent days.

A small fix has been pushed out:
- Increased footstep prioritization in sound mix playback.
- Increased enemy sliding audio.
- Reduced the impact sound when taking damage.

Playlist Update:
- 2 new Strike Maps: Pit and Gala make their debut
- Face Off Moshpit featuring TDM and Kill Confirmed is here for Strike Maps
- The dedicated Kill Order playlist has been removed
Treyarch is investigating an issue impacting some players regarding the deployment of the BO6 Beta X MW3 S5 Player XP and Battle Pass XP grants. Player XP and Battle Pass XP progress has not been lost.

- Addressed an issue that prevented players from accessing Level 20 Beta Rewards, Squish and Squash, without restarting their application.
@CODUpdates has also acknowledged the following on Twitter:
“During the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Beta, we are testing features and monitoring telemetry. Team RICOCHET is being proactive with detections during the Beta to stamp out illicit and compromised accounts across all platforms. The tuning for these detections are also in test during the Beta. The team will continue to make adjustments to reduce issues players have been experiencing while maintaining our commitment to remove cheaters.”
They are also investigating isolated issues impacting audio prioritization that could result in lower or missing volume for some audio cues, such as footsteps, explosions, sliding, and more.
Patch Notes (31st August)
It’s early to see updates pushed out, so they must be quite vital to the quality of life in Black Ops 6.
It’s far too early to see any major changes, so this update isn’t nearly as exciting as you would expect.
So here’s what’s been changed:
- Multiplayer
- Improved server-side stability during matches
- Main Menu
- Addressed an issue where characters were seen without weapons in the lobby
- Improved menu stability.
- Rewind joins the Moshpit map rotation
- Kill Order playlist now available. Eliminate the enemy HVT and protect yours!
- Kill Order has been added to the available Moshpit modes.
