The Black Ops 6 beta has landed much to the enjoyment of Call of Duty fans around the world. As a result, there are many new weapons to familiarise yourself and you’ll likely want to start with the best ones – so we’ve created a Black Ops 6 Beta Meta hub.

The goal of this article is to use our experience of playing the game and the general consensus of what the community is gravitating towards.

Xbox, PlayStation and PC users will benefit from knowing which guns to invest in and which to give a miss during these precious two weeks.

So here’s a look at our meta list.

Black Ops 6 Beta Meta

While the game is still new, we’re collecting feedback about our Meta and tier list.

S Tier

The Jackawl PDW is dominating because it is so powerful with few attachments, even after a nerf. The Scourge blueprint is making it very easy to get used to the weapon and rank it up.

The AK-74 here is a strong, versatile AR and the best one. It doesn’t require many attachments to get great results.

The XM4 is arguably one of the strongest weapons and no doubt the best AR as the community is raving about it just behind the PDW.

A Tier

The C9 received a buff in the mid-range in the latest update, but it still can’t compete as well as some of the top weapons on offer.

The SWAT 5.56 is a Marksman Rifle and it has great one-burst potential, which makes it extremely deadly.

The XMG and C9 are good weapons but don’t quite compete with the overall damage of those in the S-Tier.

The XMG is a very strong weapon but just a bit too lethargic to be one of the best options to use.

The LR 7.62 is on the cusp on S-Tier, but it can easily be countered and with many maps being small it can be a bit awkward to utilise to its full potential.

The AMES 85 is a solid all-rounder, but one of the weakest AR’s.

B Tier

The Marine SP is a solid weapon when up close (obviously) but it can be tricky to navigate maps without being seen to get close enough to use it consistently.

The Tanto .22 is a nice SMG, it has a reliable rate of fire and easy to handle, but the game is too fast-paced and there are too many good weapons for this to really shine.

C Tier

The SVD is a solid weapon, but too awkward to be effective.

Similarly, the DM-10 is meant for long range fights and with most maps being very small it isn’t a good choice.

D Tier

  • GS45
  • 9MM PM

These weapons are secondaries, which are naturally weaker than most primaries.
