The classic Prestige System is returning in Black Ops 6. With that in mind, we will show you how to prestige in Black Ops 6.

Players love a grind, especially when it comes to Call of Duty. This classic mechanic that dates all the way back to Call of Duty 4 has been absent for the past few years. Instead, a Seasonal Prestige system has taken its place.

While it made grinding easier and more fluid, it didn’t have the same rewarding feeling and having special icons were always the envy of those in your lobby and a sign of your achievements.

So how do you do it?

How To Prestige In Black Ops 6

In order to prestige in Black Ops 6, you’ll first need to reach the maximum level.

In this Call of Duty, you’ll need to reach level 55 before you can even think about prestige.

When you reach the maximum level, you’ll need to scroll through the menus. After selecting the Progression tile in the COD HQ, you should be given an option for ‘Prestige’.

The game will check with you a few times that you are happy to go ahead with this before it starts you over again.

In the past, there was a dedicated section on the lobby menu for players to access the Prestige path.

Once prestiged, your level will be set to 1 and you will have a new badge displayed against your level (indicating you are Prestige 1 or higher if you’ve done it before).
