Black Ops Royale is available for all to play, and it’s a new take on the Warzone formula, bringing it back to be a closer resemblance to the OG Blackout BR mode. But in the old version, there were no redeploys, so you might be wondering how to redeploy teammates in Black Ops Royale.

The Season 2 Reloaded Black Ops 7 update will see this new mode launch for the first time, and while a lot of it will feel familiar to the Warzone you know and love, this mode is completely different in a lot of ways.

So how can you and your squad respawn when you’re killed? Here’s how.

How To Redeploy Teammates In Black Ops Royale

If you’ve been playing Warzone for some time, you’ll likely be used to the respawn and buy back system that has been implemented across its various mode.

While respawns are still possible, which wasn’t the case in the original Blackout, they aren’t as forgiving. Unlike in Verdansk, there is no Gulag to save you. Redeployments are scarce, which means you need to be more tactical about how you play this mode and less trigger happy in action.

So how do you make your way back into the action? There are two methods to get back into the action – Redeploy tokens and Redeploy Towers.

Redeploy Tokens

Every match, you are given one redeploy token (a very generous freebie as everyone makes mistakes). You can find additional tokens via loot during the game. It’s not certain how common these will be and the drop rate will probably be adjusted as time goes on.

When you die, you automatically utilise your token and after a short delay, you will re-enter the action.

You are only able to hold one of these at once, so you can’t just opt to stack them endlessly. If you spot one on the ground and have one in your inventory, either pass it on to a teammate or try and get a bit risky in your gameplay.

Redeploy Towers

Another method for redeploying teammates is by locating and capturing Guild Redeploy Towers. These areas are dangerous as any team can utilise them. These towers will obviously take time to capture and require you to remain inside the area, so you’re a bit of a sitting duck.

This will be your last resort if your team runs out of redeploy tokens and will be in limited supply across the map, with the number available getting lower as the field of play gets smaller.
