There’s a new weapon in Call of Duty and you’ll want to grab it quickly as it’s a good one. If you want to know how to unlock the Swordfish A1 fast in Black Ops 7 and Warzone, let’s run you through how to do it.

Season 2 of Black Ops 7 is shaking up the BO7 meta on an almost weekly basis with regular updates, new attachments and even brand new weapons. Season 2 Reloaded sees the Swordfish A1 return for the first time since Black Ops 4.

With new playlists being added weekly, you can use this Marksman rifle to jump into any mode or situation and dominate with it’s lethal 4 round bursts.

So here’s our advice for getting the Swordfish A1.

How To Unlock The Swordfish A1 FAST

The easiest thing to do is to buy one of the store bundles that includes a blueprint of the Swordfish A1. At launch, there is one bundle available called the ‘Iron Pirate’, which costs 1600 COD Points.

The blueprint will instantly unlock the weapon for you to use in-game.

Alternatively, you can grind it out. The weapon is available in the new ‘Counter Skies’ event, as part of the free mini Battle Pass track.

The weapon is the final reward in the pass and given to you upon completion.

You’ll make progress on this Battle Pass by earning XP in-game, unlike the Season 2 Battle pass (which is progressed by time played).

Tips For Gaining More XP

Gaining as much XP as you can per-match is key. So ensure you play objective modes that last longer than kill dependant modes (play Domination, Hard point and Search And Destroy).

You’ll want to try and get as many kills as possible as this is the easiest way to increase you XP gains – play aggressive and look to get long streaks.

Scorestreak selection is a tough one. Going with big streaks will reward you with big kill games and a lot of XP, but if you don’t regularly get them, you’ll be slowing things down. Using streaks like UAV and Counter UAV will result in extra XP for team kills and are easy enough to get. Using a SAM turret is also an XP magnet as it will passively shoot down streaks while you gun others. You should consider running the Bankroll perk to give you a 150 headstart in your scorestreaks.

Take this concept a step further by running Squad Link or Scrambler as your Field Upgrade for passive XP. You can also equip Decoy grenades if you rely want to maximise you passive XP

Lastly, use Double Level XP tokens as this will half the time it takes to unlock the weapon.
