A new and upcoming event is dropping in Black Ops 7 and Warzone. The ‘Hunt or Be Hunted Event’ is the latest major opportunity to grind out some free rewards.

Season 2 of Black Ops 7 is reaching its halfway point and new events are popping up regularly.

These events are great as they often contain blueprints for the current weapon meta as well as other rewards you’ll want to get your hands on.

Let’s take a look at the new Black Ops 7 event

Release Date

The new event will start on the 6th March 2026. It was originally intended to begin on the 5th March, but has been moved to a day later.

What Is The Hunt Or Be Hunted Event

As described by Call of Duty in their official Season 2 blog post, here’s what you can expect from the event:

“This Multiplayer-Exclusive Leaderboard Event ranks players on a 30-player Leaderboard based on the number of Eliminations they’ve earned over the course of the Event. Compete for two Universal Camos and Calling Card rewards, and complete Challenges to unlock a Weapon Blueprint, Charm, and more“

As has been the format for a lot of events this year, players will be “competing” against each other in their own personal leaderboards. The number of kills is what matters most in this event. This is for the Black Ops 7 multiplayer only.

Hunt or Be Hunted Rewards

Here are the rewards you can get for this new event.

There will be some kill specific challenge rewards that will be distributed as follows:

• Double XP token – 100 kills
• Ophidian Weapon Charm – 200 kills
• Double Weapon XP Token – 350 kills
• Viper Storm RK9 Blueprint – 750 kills
