If you’re looking for the Swordfish A1 BO7 meta build, loadout and class, you’ve come to the right place. With Season 3 of Black Ops 7 underway, the Swordfish A1 has come and shaken up the BO7 meta.
This weapon returns for the first time since Black Ops 4 and has been added as part of Season 2 Reloaded’s Counter Skies event. With new playlists being added weekly, you can use it to jump into any mode or situation and dominate.
So here’s our advice for using the Swordfish A1.
The Best Swordfish A1 BO7 Build
Here are the best attachments to run on your Swordfish A1 in Black Ops 7’s multiplayer:
5 Attachments
- 16.5″ Gar-XL Barrel (Barrel)
- R1-Splendor Grip (Rear Grip)
- Dorado Extended Mag (Magazine)
- 3MW Motion Strike Laser (Laser)
- Bolt Carrier Group (Fire Mods)
8 Attachments
- FANG Hoverpoint Elo (Optic)
- Redwell 5.56 Compensator (Muzzle)
- 16.5″ Gar-XL Barrel (Barrel)
- Dorado Extended Mag (Magazine)
- R1-Splendor Grip (Rear Grip)
- Q-Stubb Stock (Stock)
- 3MW Motion Strike Laser (Laser)
- Bolt Carrier Grip (Fire Mod)
5 attachments are fine, but I would argue 8 is where you’ll see a big difference in its lethality and consistency – particularly with weapon control.
The weapon is powerful, but has a slower fire rate than the M8A1, meaning the Bolt Carrier Grip is really pivotal for engagements.
The Best Swordfish A1 BO7 Loadout And Class
With the best Swordfish A1 BO7 Meta Build, you’ll need to consider what the rest of your class looks like.
Wildcard
If you’re not running the Gunfighter wildcard, I would use Perk Greed for more versatility as burst fire weapons can lack it.
Secondary
- Coda 9
- Hawker Ported Comp (Muzzle)
- 6.3″ Greaves Halberd Barrel (Barrel)
- Hellgate Stick Mag (Magazine)
- Akimbo Coda 9 (Stock)
- Convergence Box Laser (Laser)
Melee
- Knife
Field Upgrade
The Swordfish A1 will work well in objective modes by pairing it with a Trophy System or Scrambler. You can even utilise Squad Link for more map coverage and bonus score.
Tactical
Stim Shots are a good choice with this class or utilise the Pinpoint Grenade to give you more visuals on the map.
The Psych grenade could be a good option to slow down rushing enemies who may want to get close to you.
Lethal
All are good choices and depend on your situation. The Semtex is reliable and the Cluster Grenade is more forgiving. The Point Turret will give you more cover from enemy flanks and
Perks
If you’re being aggressive:
- Lightweight (Perk 1)
- Scavenger (Perk 2)
- Dexterity (Perk 3)
- Enforcer (Specialist)
Use Cold-Blooded or ghost if you are using Perk Greed or should the enemy get lots of scoresreaks.
