Season 6 of Warzone is the final season of the MW3 era before Black Ops 6 launches. So here’s the Warzone 3 Season 6 Ranked Play explained.

A new set of rewards are also available for players who grind their way through the ranks.

Here’s a breakdown to explain how it works, including all ranks, SR, rewards and everything you need to know.

Warzone 3 Season 6 Ranked Play Explained

Warzone Ranked works very similarly to regular Warzone, with some restrictions in place.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Party Size: Trios
  • Map: Rebirth Island
  • Game Mode: Resurgence
  • Public Event restrictions Yes (Firesale and Restock happen at fixed circles. No other Public Events are available)
  • Vehicle restrictions Yes (e.g., No Turreted Vehicles)
  • Restricted gameplay elements: Yes
  • Buy Station Inventory Adjustments: Yes

Divisions

  • Bronze – Starting Division
  • Silver – 900 SR
  • Gold – 2,100 SR
  • Platinum – 3,600 SR
  • Diamond – 5,400 SR
  • Crimson – 7,500 SR
  • Iridescent – 10,000 SR
  • Top 250 – 10,000+ SR

Every division has three tiers, other than Iridescent and Top 250.

Restrictions

There are some Ranked Play restrictions, depending on your rank:

  • Bronze – Platinum: Can party up without any restrictions
  • Diamond: Can party up within 2 Skill Divisions
  • Crimson – T250: Can party with players within 1 Skill Division

Seasonal Reset

In Season 6, if you played during Season 4, here’s how your rank will be reset:

  • Bronze through Crimson I players are set back three Tiers below where they finished.
  • Players Crimson II and above will start in Diamond I.

As part of the End of Season Skill Setback, players are granted Demotion Protection for their first three Ranked Play games.

Warzone Ranked SR

What Do You Get SR For?

Players will earn a Skill Rating (SR) based on match performance:

  • Placement (e.g., 1st, 2nd, 20th)
  • Kills
  • Assists
  • Kills by your squad

SR Breakdown

The SR earned for Kills, Assists and Squad Kills is increased based on the number of squads remaining:

  • 21+ Squads Remaining: +5 SR per Elimination/Assist, +2 SR per Squadmate Elimination
  • 3–20 Squads Remaining: +7 SR per Elimination/Assist, +3 SR per Squadmate Elimination
  • 1–3 Squads Remaining: +15 SR per Elimination/Assist, +7 SR per Squadmate Elimination

Equally, you’ll lose points for dying:

  • Silver I-III: -2 SR per Death
  • Gold I-III: -3 SR per Death
  • Platinum I-III: -4 SR per Death
  • Diamond I-III: -5 SR per Death
  • Crimson I-III: -6 SR per Death
  • Iridescent & Top 250: -7 SR per Death

Placement SR is distributed as follows:

  • Top 40: 15
  • Top 30: 30
  • Top 20: 45
  • Top 10: 60
  • Top 50: 80
  • 3rd: 100
  • 2nd: 125
  • 1st: 150

Entry Fee

Entering a game costs 0 SR and you will not lose any SR at Bronze rank, however, once you reach Silver it will cost you SR to enter games, meaning you can start to lose SR.

  • Bronze I–III: No Entry Fee
  • Silver I: 10 SR
  • Silver II: 14 SR
  • Silver III: 18 SR
  • Gold I: 23 SR
  • Gold II: 28 SR
  • Gold III: 33 SR
  • Platinum I: 39 SR
  • Platinum II: 45 SR
  • Platinum III: 51 SR
  • Diamond I: 58 SR
  • Diamond II: 65 SR
  • Diamond III: 72 SR
  • Crimson I: 80 SR
  • Crimson II: 90 SR
  • Crimson III: 100 SR
  • Iridescent & Top 250: Starts at -110 SR to -280 SR

Players will move up the Ranks by earning Stars through the completion of Warzone 3 Ranked Play matches. You can earn a maximum of 3 Stars per match:

  • Top 25: 1 Star
  • Top 10: 2 Stars
  • 1st Place: 3 Stars
