If you’re a long-time fan of Black Ops-style Battle Royales, you’ll remember this mode from the Blackout days. This mode hasn’t been used until now.
So what does the next big Black Ops Royale mode include?
What Is Hot Pursuit And How Does It Work In Black Ops Royale?
In this LTM (limited-time mode), players can experience the thrill of high-speed chases and being on the run.
Black Ops Royale is the mode that will see it introduced. For those unaware, Black Ops Royale was a variant mode introduced into Warzone in Season 2’s Reloaded update. Instead of loadouts, buy stations, Gulags and other core Warzone features, these have been stripped away for a more traditional loot and shoot Battle Royale.
In this mode, squads of four will drop into Avalon and choose how they want to play; you can be cops or robbers. Jump into Police cars to track down the robbers or use a getaway car to find valuables.
Vehicles are the key to success and are the core component of this mode. Not to mention, respawns are enabled – as long as a teammate stays alive, you will respawn.
This mode will be the first LTM for Black Ops Royale and available to everyone, for free, in the mid-season update. So it is going to be a while before you actually get to try it out.
Of course, the Standard Black Ops Royale mode will stay, should this not be something you’re interested in too.
