So what does the next big Black Ops Royale mode include?
What Is Prop Hunt Royale And How Does It Work In Black Ops Royale?
In this game mode, it’s not players vs players, it’s players vs props. The classic mode that has featured in many previous Call of Duty titles is now making its way to Warzone.
If you’re unaware, Prop Hunt is a mode that was introduced all the way back in Call of Duty: WWII. It operates in a similar way to hide-and-seek. One team will spawn in as props (in this case items that can be found on the map) and will look to hide/blend in with the environment to survive. The other team will aim to hunt them down and shoot them all before the end of the round.
This is no different here, as 48 players (24v24) will take it in turns to be the Hunters and Props. Props are given 30 seconds to hide before the Hunters are freed from their spawn to sniff them out.
Props win if at least one prop is still alive at the end, while Hunters win if they kill all props; the first team to three rounds wins and takes home the victory.
This mode will be available in the mid-season update, so you’ll have to wait for it to arrive. Regular Warzone modes will still be available during this time.
