Black Ops Royale is a new take on the Warzone formula, bringing it back to be a closer resemblance to the OG Blackout BR mode. But in the old version, there were no redeploys, so you might be wondering how to redeploy teammates in Black Ops Royale.
The Season 2 Reloaded Black Ops 7 update will see this new mode launch for the first time, and while a lot of it will feel familiar to the Warzone you know and love, this mode is completely different in a lot of ways.
So how can you and your squad respawn when you’re killed? Here’s how.
Why Isn’t There A Gulag In Black Ops Royale?
If you’ve been playing Warzone for some time, you’ll likely be used to the respawn system, particularly the Gulag.
Normally, you will be able to compete against a fallen foe in a 1v1 fight to the death – the winner would be set free and get to redeploy for free. The loser would have to get bought back or sit out.
In Black Ops Royale, it’s a bit different. There are no Gulags, so you won’t be able to win your way back into the fight. However, there is some good news. You will get a free respawn each game.
At the start of a match, everyone is given a Redeploy Token. Once you die, it will automatically be redeemed and allow you to enter back into the match. You can collect more Redeploy Tokens by looting in-game.
Another method for redeploying teammates is by locating and capturing Guild Redeploy Towers. These areas are dangerous as any team can utilise them. These towers will obviously take time to capture and require you to remain inside the area, so you’re a bit of a sitting duck.
This will be your last resort if your team runs out of redeploy tokens and will be in limited supply across the map, with the number available getting lower as the field of play gets smaller.
